Act of Remembrance 2020: Emley Church Yard
10.40 am: Sunday 8 November
You are warmly invited to join us in Emley Church Yard on Sunday 8 November at 10.40am, for our 2020 Act of Remembrance.
To keep people safe social distancing must be observed with people remaining in household groups. Masks should be worn. Sadly, no congregational singing is allowed. Sanitizing stations will be available and contact details recorded as part of Track and Trace.
We appreciate that some may feel unable to attend, but if you would like to be part of our village Remembrance - two suggestions are offered.
At 11.00am, when the two-minute silence is observed, to stand on your front door and clap: to say thank you to those who gave their lives for our freedom.
As a way of involving our young people, to paint poppies (or any other suitable decoration) on stones and to place them at the base of our war memorial.
If you have any questions, please contact:
Mrs Sallie Dickens: 01484 306407 or Revd Anne: 01924 840738
If it rains the service will be held – bring an umbrella! The Church will not be open.
